Basics
This is a tower defense game where you fight off waves of zombie attacks.
You choose where to lay towers, what tower types to lay, and how much to upgrade each tower type.
Your towers automatically fire at oncoming zombies.
You start each stage with 1,500 coins and earn more coins through battle.
In addition to planning out your tower strategy you also have rechargeable lightning and bomb spells which you can cast over areas of the map to slow down zombies and damage their health.
The goal of this game is to allow fewer than 15 zombies to reach the level exits.
Zombies come in discrete waves.
Levels may have as many as 10 different waves.
Towers
Each map has a series of places you can build towers.
The towers you lay can then be upgraded three times each.
The game features 4 different types of towers: archer, bomber, sniper, and magic.
Archer tower – equipped with a precise archer who fires sharp arrows at the invading enemies. Its shooting speed and accuracy are unmatched. It doesn’t have a long range, but it is effective against both ground and flying enemies.
On level 2 arrows inflict 25% more damage.
On level 3 the arrows create a shockwave upon impact, causing additional damage.
On level 4 the arrows inflict 25% more damage and create a shockwave upon impact, causing additional damage.
On level 5 the archer fires an additional arrow, causing more damage.
Bomber tower – this tower launches a bomb that creates a significant impact within the explosion radius. The shockwave generated by the explosion deals extra damage to enemies. This tower is only effective against ground enemies.
On level 2 the bombs inflict 25% more damage.
On level 3 the bombs inflict 50% more damage.
On level 4 the bombs inflict 75% more damage.
On level 5 the cannon fires an additional bomb, causing 100% more damage.
Sniper tower – this tower features a soldier who uses a sniper rifle to take down targets from a great distance. It has the longest range but the slowest rate of fire. The sniper is effective against both ground and flying enemies.
On level 2 the sniper shots inflict 22% more damage.
On level 3 the sniper shots inflict 44% more damage.
On level 4 the sniper can fire two bullets simultaneously.
On level 5 the sniper shots inflict 150% more damage, capable of destroying some enemies with one shot.
Magic tower – this tower launches a magical ball that creates a significant impact. The magic tower has a high range and can inflict great damage from a long distance. This tower is effective against both ground and aerial enemies.
On level 2 the magic balls inflict 33% more damage.
On level 3 the magic tower generates an additional ball, causing more damage.
On level 4 the magic tower generates an extra ball, causing more damage. Both magic balls have a 20% damage increase.
On level 5 the magic tower generates a ball with 15% more damage, and upon hitting an enemy, it stops them for 1 second, slowing down their progress.
Levels
This game has 32 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
Winning vs losing
You beat a level by allowing fewer than 15 zombies past your defenses.
You lose a level if more than 15 zombies get past your towers to the level exits marked with a red shield indicator.
This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
Star ratings
You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each stage, for a maximum of 96 stars in the game.
If no zombies get past your defenses you will earn 3 stars.
The more zombies who make it to the exit the lower your star rating will be.
If you earn fewer than 3 stars on a level you can replay it again to try to improve your score. Your new star rating will only replace the old star rating if your new star rating is better.
Tips
Tower locations
It is important to lay towers almost immediately after the level starts as the first wave comes quickly.
It takes a bit of time to lay each tower, so it can make sense to start laying near where the zombies enter and then work your way across towards where they’ll exit.
The best places to lay towers are near common paths that all enemies must cross, or in locations where your attack will have reach to hit almost all enemies.
Tower type
An advantage to using only one tower type (or heavily using a particular tower type) is that when you spend your upgrade points to improve shot damage, fire rate, attack speed, attack range, targeting precision, and accuracy you can max those out of the primary tower type you use and then upgrade other types of towers after that tower type is fully upgraded.
Through the first half of the game it was rather easy to earn a 3-star rating on all the stages using nothing but magic towers.
Later stages were much harder to score 3 stars on.
On stages 20 onward you may need to need to use a mix of tower types to be able to achieve a 3-star rating.
I had trouble getting 3 stars on levels 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and 32.
If you find a strategy which works best for these later levels please share it in the comments. I wanted to get this game published to the site as quickly as I could, so did not take the time to do 100% complete.
Tower quantity
On most levels you do not need to use all the tower build locations & in fact it is typically better to build strong towers on the most strategic locations rather than building many weaker towers.
On most stages I would build 3 towers straight away, upgrade them each at least once, and then consider which tower to upgrade next or if it made sense to start adding more towers in other locations.
A fully upgraded magic tower increases the efficacy of any nearby towers as well, as when it hit it leaves a gum-like residue which slows down enemies, enabling other adjacent towers to do additional damage.
Spell usage
It can be helpful early in the level to use the attacks right as some zombies enter the screen so you do a lot of damage to them before they even encounter your towers.
In some cases you can do a 1-2 move where you stun a group of zombies with lightning and then drop a bomb on them.
The bombs work better on ground enemies than on flying enemies.
In other cases it makes sense to thin out the herd and space them out, doing a bomb drop on zombies that will reach your towers sooner, and then slowing down further away zombies with a lightning blast.
If enemies are near the end of the level and look like they might escape try to use lightning on them to slow them down and give your tower a bit more time to do damage.
In some cases your towers will fire at zombies which only recently entered the stage rather than the zombies closer to the exit.
If you remember where and when this is happening you can use your spells to slow down the incoming zombies or to do extra damage to the zombies closer to the exits.

Issue should be fixed. The dev accidentally had an exit box near where enemies come in on the lower right and that would trigger like they reached the end of the level. How I fixed the game initially was to create a copy of it and have those enemies enter in a different path, but then he updated the game, so I went back to his build where the enemies came in on that path.
I think what happened was the game update package had the updated Construct 3 file of the game, but still the old HTML, so I just opened up Construct 3, did another export of the game from Construct, and then uploaded that package over the top of the old one.
You may need to hit Contro+F5 (or a similar key combo depending on your OS and web browser) to hard refresh the tab with the game in it to reload with the newest version of the game files.
