An adorable destroyer

As in the game, Hammond is shown in the cockpit of his mech. This one, in the shape of a big ball, is represented with a lot of details. We can see the four legs that make him look like an insect when he moves but that can retract to become a wrecking ball rolling on his opponents. We also find all the weapons in the front as well as the various green, orange and silver mechanical elements. Finally, Hammond is in the cockpit with his upper body protruding. He is beige and brown with an adorable round head, little rodent teeth and a paw in front with a determined look.

A successful experiment

His real name is Hammond, Wrecking Ball is one of the genetically modified hamsters from the Horizon moon colony experiments and one of the playable heroes of the online video game Overwatch. Indeed, their goal was to modify the genes of these animals in order to improve their ability to resist during a prolonged stay on the moon. If the guinea pigs were mostly primates, there were also hamsters. And like the primates, on some of them the experiments had unexpected effects, developing the size and especially the intelligence of these animals. And while the primates were preparing their rebellion, Hammond was developing his engineering skills in secret. He took advantage of the rebellion to attach the ship he had built in secret to that of the ape Winston, and landed on Earth. For a while, he became the star of the Australian outback mech competitions before finally being able to leave the area and discover the world.
