STORYLINE: Moo Jin-Hyuk is a guilt-ridden detective. While he was out celebrating his success at solving crimes and getting drunk with his fellow detectives, his wife was being butchered to death by a serial killer. How is this possible? It can’t be real? But it was a sobering reality.
Kang Kwon-Joo was a top student at the police academy and after graduating he began working at the emergency 112 call center, the Golden Team. While at work, her father who is a police sergeant is killed at the crime scene where a brutal murder case had taken place. She can hear what happened over the phone. After that tragedy, she went to the U.S. to study and become a professional voice profiler.
When Kang Kwon-Joo comes back to Korea, she goes back to work emergency call center using her voice profiling skills to piece together limited information from phone calls to solve cases. She teams up with Moo Jin-Hyuk to solve crimes and in particular, to hunt down the serial killer responsible for the deaths of their loved ones.

(S2) Voice – Generation of Disgust (2018) ~ 12 episodes
STORYLINE: Kang Kwon-Joo teams up with Detective Do Kang-Woo to continue solving crimes and saving lives. Once again they are on the hunt for a serial killer called Dr. Fabre. He enjoys kidnapping his victims and torturing them. Then he plays a cat-and-mouse game with the police. He is very good at covering his tracks and misleading the investigators. It’s so easy to outsmart them. At least, he thinks so. But the psychopathic killer doesn’t realize that Do Kang-Woo is a psychopath detective.

(S3) Voice – City of Accomplices (2019) ~ 16 episodes
STORYLINE: Can deranged psychopaths get even more deranged? Yes. They can use the Internet to connect with like-minded sinister and even creepier criminals, from all around the world. Hey! It is the world wide web, isn’t it? Why not set up an auction website where buyers can bid on “body parts”, i.e. remains from the victims? Detective Do Kang-woo is pursuing a string of murder cases. Dr. Fabre is still out there, somewhere. Do Kang-woo continues working with Kang Kwon-Joo and the rest of the Golden Team as they investigate a wide range of criminal activities: cyber crimes, human smuggling, identity fraud, high-end drug trafficking, etc., etc., etc. They uncover conspiracies within the city and they are not “theories”. They face new adversaries and the cases are far more complex and dangerous.

STORYLINE: Kang Kwon-joo has an enhanced hearing ability and that gift is the reason why he can perform her duties so well. But a serial killer appears and he too has enhanced hearing ability, which he uses to commit crimes. You could say the good guys and the bad guys are evenly matched. But good never triumphs over evil. Does it? This time Kang Kwon-joo works with Derek Cho aka Cho Seung-Ho from the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department).
