His mischievous partner discovers the package and exchanges the dainty slippers for dirty old cowpuncher's boots. The lovely lady resents this by thumping the donor on the head with his gift. Then Bill, suspicious of his partner, determines to kick him, and they have an elegant settlement. Bill has no courage to go to the dance; but, through the aid of his intelligent dog, discovers a fire that threatens the premises, and becomes a hero in spite of himself.
