Arthur is elated and stops in front of his best girl's house. She deigns to ride with him but the car refuses to start. Whatever Arthur touches comes apart. A cop gets his goat and his rival, appearing in a slick roadster upsets him even more; especially when he invites the girl to ride with him, she consents, but insists that he give Arthur a hitch. The rope breaks when the car reaches the top of the hill. Arthur finds himself With the old bus at the bottom again. Finally it runs into a wall and goes to pieces. He disguises as a girl and attends Olive's party. He gets away with it for a time, but when he plunges into a swimming tank with Olive and they bob up, still kissing, Arthur demonstrates that he has the strangest hold on the fair girl's heart.
