Featuring select listings in the styles of visionary directors, our first episode dives into the world of Spike Jonze, who's filmmaking style is characterized by inventive visuals, a focus on character and inner life, and a minimalist aesthetic that brings emotional depth to his stories. This short-film was produced at one of our newest Signature listings, 2 Park Place, #41A in the historic Woolworth Tower. Caleb Short the writer, director, and editor of this film was excited to utilize Spike Jonze for Episode 1 of Season 2 as it opened an exploration of a theme we can all relate to: how we each individually fit in - in New York City.. Through a minimalist, symbolic aesthetic, Jonze subtly explores the contrast of solitude and chaos and the thematic impact on relationships, creating a unique fusion of modern life and our own internal worlds in each film.
