PROMOIVIES
I'd like a sandwich — a big one, please.
Which shoes did you buy? — I bought the black ones,
How can one avoid that problem?
(Como se pode evitar esse problema?)
Esse uso detone é um tanto-formal. Em linguagem mais informal, usa-se you:

We -would go to the party if we had a car.

cio da ação até .o presente.

A voz passiva é feita com to be (no mesmo tempo e forma do verbo na voz
ativa), seguido do particípio passado do verbo.

do (geralmente é said), o tempo do verbo da frase relatada indiretamente mu-
dará, dando "um passo atrás" no tempo:
Tony said that he lived in Rio.
Tony said he lived in Rio.
• Os verbos auxiliares should, ought to, could, would e might não mudam, per-
manecem w. mesma forma no 'discurso indireto:
"I should live in Rio," he said.
He said he should live in Rio.
