After releasing a visual for “Say Love” last month, JoJo shares a live acoustic version of the tune. While the original version is a solid effort, JoJo’s stripped down rendition adds new life to the emotional tune.
“Say Love” is part of JoJo’s tringle, which consisted of three singles released simultaneously. All three songs will appear on her long-awaited third studio album.

“Every song on the album is true to me,” she tells FADER. “I can’t sing something, whether I wrote it or not, that I can’t feel. I had a girlfriend in the studio with me that was going through the exact thing. She had been the first to say I love you and he didn’t say I love you back. She was crying while I was recording it and I knew that I had tapped into something. I had put myself in her shoes and I wanted to feel what she was feeling.”
JoJo is currently on her I Am JoJo Tour with upcoming stops in Seattle, Houston Washington, D.C. and New Orleans.
