The superior scrimshaw of cruelty is an item that can be made within a players' port workshop at level 92 Fletching once all 4 scroll pieces of Cruelty have been obtained in the player-owned port minigame. Scrimshaws of the same type and tier can be combined to increase their longevity, up to a maximum of 24 hours in one Scrimshaw.
The scrimshaw can be activated on and off for a total of 4 hours after which it degrades to dust.
When equipped and activated, it adds +6.66% damage to all Ranged attacks.
If lost in a PvP situation, the killer will receive coins based on the time left on the scrimshaw by giving 1,000 gp per 2 minutes and 24 seconds or 25,000 gp per hour that's on the scrimshaw.

- Scrimshaws of the same type and tier can now be combined to increase their longevity, up to a maximum of 24 hours in one Scrimshaw.
- If the total is over 24 hours, you will receive a new Scrimshaw with the remainder.
- Used and combined Scrimshaws can also be divided, which splits them down into new ones. Scrimshaws created in this fashion will be full and may be traded, if applicable.

- The damage modifiers from damage enhancing scrimshaws, Berserker auras and the Metamorphosis ability are now calculated earlier. This means that bosses phase correctly when they reach their HP threshold and mechanics that rely on damage to progress (such as Telos' tendrils or Vorago's pushback phases (Phase 5 - Normal Mode, Phase 10/11 - Hard Mode)) will now take the additional damage from the modifiers into the equation.
