This isn’t the first time Newell and Porsche have collaborated. The original P50 model launched in 2017 and it keeps getting better. The P50 honors the legacy of L.K. Newell, who gained a spot in RV history by building a luxury coach that features the best elements of bus and motorhome design and construction.
L.K.’s goal was to combine the desirable features of a bus-the rear diesel engine, under-floor storage, air brakes, and air suspension-with features that buses did not offer, such as a front-mounted generator, a mid-entry door, motorhome systems built into the body and chassis during manufacture, and more flexibility to custom build to the customer’s preferences.
In 1970, Newell designed and built his own pusher motorhome chassis-from scratch. He used a unique bridge-construction technique that maximized under-floor storage space, creating the first motorhome with a basement. From the First Diesel Pusher to First Class Road Trip Living
RVs have come a long way since Newell invented the first diesel pusher at the request of a customer. The P50 is no exception. This beauty is 45-feet long and weighs 65,000 pounds, with 600 square feet of first class living space inside. And like all Newell coaches, it’s built on-site from the ground up–even the chassis and the body itself. In the process, the customer determines almost everything about the interior design of the unit.
The leather sofas and entertainment center features a 49″ TV and surround sound theater audio.
The luxury coach also features an important design element Newell introduced to RV manufacturing: “flat floor sides.” What this means is that whether your slides are extended or retracted while in motion, you will always have flat floors inside the RV. No more tripping on the uneven flooring when you’re on the move.
It has one and a half baths with quartz countertops and large marble look shower walls.
Like all Newell motor coaches, the P50 is designed for first class living. The smooth tile floors, the leather-bound walls and surround sound home theater system ensures the buyer will never sacrifice the luxury touches of the sticks and bricks they left behind.
The kitchen has two cooktops: enough room for your personal chef!
Despite the high ticket price of Newell RVs, sales have always been brisk. Even during the great recession when other RV manufacturers were folding, Newell kept making million dollar homes on wheels. Today the company produces just under 40 units a year in their 65,000 square foot facility.
The master bedroom has a 55″ TV and modified king size mattress.

Where will the owners park the motorhome in 11 years when it’s not allowed in parks that won’t let RV’s over 10 years old stay in them?
Would have been a lot more interesting to see it with the slides out. Kind of a waste of time otherwise.
I love my luxury lifestyle but this is a complete waste of money. 600 square feet for $2 million??? I’d rather live in my 10,000 square foot $2 million dollar home. Or stay in luxury resorts while vacationing. You can stay in a Trump hotel 1600 sq ft for $1,000 a night. It would take you a long time to equal $2 million. I’d rather do that. And with this you still have to mess with the bathroom mess. No thanks. And it’s not like you can throw a party in 600 sq ft so who is really going to enjoy it but you? What’s the point really?

The interior photos have the slides out. Notice in the shot of the dinette how far out it is beyond the driver’s seat. In the bedroom and sofa shots, look at the windows on the ends of the slides and notice how far they are out past the adjacent walls.
Exterior picture, of course, has the slides in.
If it weighs 65000 pounds it is 18500 pounds over weight. The brakes better be super. The steer axle limit
is 12500 and 34000 for the duel rear axels.

For $2 million, it should have a solid gold throne in the bathroom! Not to mention, at that price, with sky high monthly payments, you couldn’t afford to go anywhere because the gas mileage is what…8 MPG’S????!!!!!

Pretty but the video didn’t really show on tell anything. All those cameras did what? Showed what? Was there outside storage? Owner very busy so slides in? Looks cramped. No idea of living space. Inside colors? Those were obvious. Ah, and a pretty circular staircase, that leads to …. ? Nothing impressive except the price. Sorry. Harsh. There was nothing really of interest.
