"How is Santa going to know where I am?"
That heartfelt question from a little boy is the reason we started this tradition and why we continue it each year. Families at Faith House, who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing domestic violence, deserve a holiday season filled with joy and hope.
For theeighth consecutive year, we’re teaming up with Faith House to bring the magic of Christmas to 12 deserving families right here in Acadiana. These families are survivors, working to create a brighter future, and with your help, we can ensure their holidays are filled with love and happiness.
Here’s how you can help:
Each day during the ‘12 Days of Giftmas,’ we’ll feature a different Faith House family on our website at 1079ishot.com, sharing their Christmas wish list. You’ll have the chance to pick an item (or items) from the list and help make their holiday dreams come true. Our website will update in real-time as generous donors—like you—make those wishes a reality.
NOTE: If you see an item not crossed out (below), it is available for purchase. Just shoot us a message (on the app, DM on socials, or email digital@1079ishot.com) to let us know what item(s) you're claiming, and drop it off during business hours at 1749 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette, LA (70506).
You can also call 337-233-6000 to ensure someone will be here for drop off.
Over the years, Acadiana has shown incredible generosity, and we know this year will be no different. Your kindness brings light to families facing what may be the toughest time of their lives, reminding them they are not alone.
So, let’s come together again to make this season unforgettable for these Faith House families. Whether it’s a toy for a child or a household necessity for a parent, every gift helps spread holiday magic. Together, we can make a difference with the ‘12 Days of Giftmas.’
Visit 1079ishot.com to see how you can help and let's make Christmas morning at Faith House a little brighter this holiday season.
