The analysis of series of electron energy-loss spectra recorded with the spectrum-line
technique is usually performed with two methods: the spatial difference approach and
multivariate statistical analysis. Such spectra are strongly correlated, thus we associate Blind
Source Separation techniques to specific pre and post processing. The principle is
presented and illustrations are given through a simulation example and an experimental
one.
