Efficient meta-level control in bounded-rational agents
Proceedings of the second international joint conference on Autonomous …, 2003•dl.acm.org
An important issue for complex agents operating in open real-time environments is how to
sequence execution and computation actions without consuming too many resources. An
empirical approach to this meta-level control problem is presented. We show that explicit
meta-level control leads to significant improvement in agent performance.
