This paper presents a new current mirror operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) design that utilizes a hybrid technique of shunting current from the main differential pair. This technique combines shunting current through two different ways; the first is by using an adaptive biased transistors through a second differential pair, and the other is by using a constant biased current source transistors. Each way separately had been examined in previous studies and have shown an improvement on the performance of the current mirror OTA. Combining these different ways is examined here and the performance have been optimized using 90nm CMOS technology to insure obtaining the best results without compromising the stability of the circuit, therefore keeping the phase margin ≥ 60°.
