Dr. Christopher J. Martyniuk is a Professor at the Center for Environmental and Human Toxicology and Department of Physiological Sciences, University of Florida. He received his B.Sc. in Biology from Simon Fraser University and his M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Guelph. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Ottawa. He was the inaugural recipient of the Gorbman–Bern New Independent Investigator Award given by the North American Society for Comparative Endocrinology and was recognized by the Canadian Society of Zoology as a promising Young Investigator in 2013. He won the Zoetis Animal Health Award for Research Excellence in 2018 and the UF Term Professorship in 2020–2023.
