Field of scientific activity:
Classification problems in the theory of gravity. The principles of classifying spacetime manifolds based on the presence of certain sets of Killing fields were developed. Major classification problems for Stackel, conformal-Stackel, and homogeneous spaces for general relativity (both in the presence of matter and in a vacuum), as well as for alternative gravitational theories (including theories with a dilatopean field) were posed and solved. Cosmology.
