Luca Mallia is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Movement, Human and Health Sciences-University of Rome "Foro Italico". He earned his PhD degree at the Sapienza-University of Rome in 2007, with which he actively collaborated in the past years. His research interests are focused on the analysis of the belief systems and decision making processes underpinning risky behaviors in young people, especially in sport domain. Over the years, this research focus has been pursued in the context of risky driving and doping use. In this research fields, he participated to international research programs, he was coauthor of several international publications, and received scientific awards.
