Horváth Emőke is associate professor of Department of Pathology at George Emil Palade UMFST of Targu Mures since September 2016. Her research focuses on three main topics: (1) tissue markers of atherosclerosis; (2) complex regulatory pathways in experimental induced stroke and human ischemic heart disease (3) hematological ad pediatric malignancies. She has published 18 original articles in ISI-indexed journals with impact factors, 9 as a first or last author; She has also been granted a directorship or membership in seven national and regional research projects.
