Dr. Xiaolei Song is an Associate Professor at the School of Fashion and Art Engineering, at Minjiang University. She earned her MSc from Soochow University (2007) and her PhD from Jiangnan University (2017). In 2019, she joined Minjiang University as a teacher. The courses she teaches include knitwear design, knitwear technology and design, knitwear, clothing materials, and fabric structure and design. She presided over two provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and one provincial and ministerial teaching and research project, won one Jiangsu Province Double Innovation Talent Project, presided over many municipal and departmental projects, and presided over two horizontal projects. Her research direction is the application of magnetic micro-nanomaterials in functional protective clothing materials.
