Dr. Brundaban Beriha is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at KIIT in India. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Bhubaneswar in 2021 on the topic of analysis and design of long-life composite pavements. His expertise extends to pavement materials, where he explores innovative solutions, and pavement evaluation and maintenance, contributing significantly to the sustainability and longevity of road infrastructure. His notable contributions include the development of the "CrossPave" computer program, capable of analyzing pavements while considering the stress-dependent behavior of unbound granular materials. Some of his noteworthy journal papers cover topics such as multi-layer elastic analysis programs, fatigue behavior of cement-stabilized materials, and the determination of endurance limits for different bound materials used in pavements. Additionally, his conference papers delve into areas like mechanical characterization of bio-enzyme treated soil, the design of long-life pavements, and the application of cement-stabilized materials in low-volume road pavements.
