Mauro Tucci completed his Master’s degree in Computer Science and Automation Engineering at the University of Pisa in 2004. In 2008, he achieved a Ph.D. in “Applied Electromagnetism” at the University of Pisa. Currently, he serves as a Full Professor at DESTEC, University of Pisa, where he teaches the courses “Artificial Intelligence in Electrical Engineering” and “Circuit Theory”. His research on computational intelligence includes evolutionary optimization and deep learning. He is an IEEE Senior Member, and he serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Access journal. He served as TPC Chair of the 2017 IEEE ACES conference, Co-Chair of IEEE CEFC 2020, and Pubblication Chair of IEEE ISPLC 2020 international conferences.
