Prof. Dr. Kang Wook Kim received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Seoul National University in 1985 and 1987, respectively, and his Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996. He has a position as a professor and is currently working at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea. He was a Researcher at the Korea Electrical Research Institute, a Graduate Student Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at the UCLA, a Microwave Design Engineer at P-Com, Inc., and an RF Design Engineer at Narda DBS Microwave, an L-3 Communications Company. His research interests mainly include microwave communication systems and subsystems, microwave/mm-wave components and packaging, and antennas for wireless communication, electromagnetic interaction, and electromagnetic numerical analysis.
