José Lorenzana is Director of Research (Dirigente di Ricerca) at the Sapienza Unit of the Institute for Complex Systems, part of the National Research Council in Rome, Italy. He earned his degree in physics from Instituto Balseiro in 1988, followed by a Ph.D. in physics from the International School for Advanced Studies (ISAS-SISSA) in Trieste in 1992. Lorenzana's research focuses on strongly correlated and disordered systems.
