The new region might be the original home of Yungoos and Gumshoos.
Also regional forms of Johto Pokemon
Psychic/Steel Wobbufett would be too op because they could give him high defenses and Metal Burst.

Yeah Kahili seemed oddly unimportant. I do look forward to maybe seeing the return of some old characters. Or even ones who we've seen recently.
I feel like when Gen 8 comes out I'll be unable to find enough interest in the characters to top Bugsy, Volkner, and N. But who knows. I've never witnessed the beginning of a new Pokemon generation before, which is why I'm so hyped even now. I hope at least one Gym Leader will wind up drawn all over my schoolwork. (I'm not as worried about new Pokemon because I'm pretty sure I'll see a cute Electric type and automatically fall in love with it)

I really liked Mega Evolutions. I don’t know why, I just do. The only big complaint I had about Sun/Moon when they came out was that none of the new Pokémon had Mega Evolutions and instead they had Z-Moves, which are a ripoff of the Soultimate moves from Yokai Watch
