About Colonic Hydrotherapy
Colonic Hydrotherapy is a totally safe procedure that introduces a gentle infusion of warm, purified, filtered water into the large intestine (colon) to flush accumulated faecal waste, harmful bacteria, toxins, gas and mucous from the colon. It is safe and gentle, yet a very effective detoxifying treatment to cleanse the body and reactivate the waste systems.

The Colon
The colon, also called the large intestine or bowel, is situated in the abdomen and forms the last part of the digestive tract.

How does colon hydrotherapy work?
The natural shape of the colon has many crevices and subsequently, old waste and toxins can become trapped over time.
Warm filtered water is introduced into your colon through a small tube called a speculum that is gently inserted about 1-1.5 inches into your rectum. As the water enters, you’ll feel fullness as your colon gently fills with warm water, then a relaxing feeling as the water is released by the therapist. This process of filling and releasing continues for up to 45 minutes.
The water pressure and temperature are carefully controlled and all waste is drained away discreetly in a closed, modern and hygienic system with absolutely no mess or odours.
