John Madden Football '92, released as Pro Football (プロフットボール) in Japan, is a sequel (or update) to John Madden Football. It is the first Madden game to use the numbering system in its title, and covers the 1991 NFL season, though like its predecessor is not officially licensed by the National Football League.
Contents
Gameplay
Madden '92 significantly builds on the original Madden, containing the full 28 NFL teams (as city names) over the previous years' 16.
This is the only game in the series to include the fan-favourite ambulance. If a player is injured and has to be taken off the field, an ambulance drives onto the pitch, knocking any over any players in its way.
