Abingdon ili arhaički Abingdon-on-Thames (/[invalid input: 'icon']ˈæbɪŋdən/) je trgovište i civilna parohija u engleskoj grofoviji Oxfordshire, England. Predstavlja središte distrikta Vale of White Horse. Ranije je bio sjedište grofovije Berkshire, te je jedno od mjesta koje se smatra najstarijim stalno nastanjenim gradom u Britaniji,^[2] s obzirom da tragovi naselja datiraju od prije 6000 godina. Bio je dio grofovije Berkshire sve do 1974. godine kada je premješten u Oxfordshire.
