Valley is a city in Chambers County, Alabama, United States. According to the 2020 census, there are 10,529 people living there.[2]

Geography

Valley is located in the southeastern Chambers County at 32°48'41" North, 85°10'41" West (32.811387, -85.177938).[3] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, it has a total area of 12.9 square miles (33.4 km2), all land.[1]

It is located on the Alabama-Georgia state line.

Valley is part of a larger area called the LaGrange Micropolitan Statistical Area. It consists of Chambers County and Troup County, Georgia.

Its climate usually has hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Valley has a humid subtropical climate. It is often abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps. [4]
