Croatian Americans (Croatian: Američki Hrvati) are Americans that have partial or full ancestral origin from Croatia. In 2012, there were at least 414,714 American citizens who have Croatian descent.

Croatian Americans are closely related to other European Americans, and are closest to other Slavic Americans. Most Croatian Americans are of the Roman Catholic faith, but other Christian faiths are commonly followed. The places with the most Croatian Americans are Southern California. Croatia's State Office for the Croats Abroad estimated that there are up to 1.2 million Croats and their descendants living in the United States.

¹ Poles came to the United States legally as Austrians, Germans, Prussians or Russians throughout the 19th century, because from 1772–1795 till 1918, all Polish lands had been partitioned between imperial Austria, Prussia (a protoplast of Germany) and Russia until Poland regained its sovereignty in the wake of World War I. ³ Yugoslav Americans are the American people from the former Yugoslavia. ⁴ Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Turkey span the conventional boundary between Europe and Asia. ⁵ Disputed; Roma have recognized origins and historic ties to Asia (specifically to Northern India), but they experienced at least some distinctive identity development while in diaspora among Europeans. ⁶ Armenia and Cyprus are located entirely in Asia, but historically have stronger tie with Europe.
