Bboxx has three co-founders – Mansoor Hamayun, Christopher Baker-Brian, and Laurent Van Houcke. They co-founded Bboxx in 2010. [1][4]
Operation
- Won Zayed Sustainability Award for Energy.[5]
- Launched first mini-grid at Kivu international School in DRC Goma.[7]
- $31 Million deal with AIIM. [8] . $50 Million Series D funding round led by Mitsubishi.[9][10]
- Signed MOU with the government of the DRC to bring reliable and clean electricity to 10 million citizens by 2024.[11]
- Partnered with UNCDF to expand clean cooking access.[12]
- Teamed up with EDF to increase access to solar-powered farming.[13][14][15]
