History

Founded in 2017 by Shihab Muhammed and ex-Zoho employee Subin Sebastian[3], the firm aims to capture a market share in the global online survey software industry valued at $4 billion, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11.25 percent to reach $6.9 billion by 2022.[4][5][6][7]

The company has surpassed 1,00,000 customers. In 2020, in the time of 3 years since its beta launch.[8][9]

SurveySparrow teamed up with Microsoft Teams in 2021.[10]

Kochi-based SurveySparrow received a shot in the arm with securing $1.4 million in seed funding from Bengaluru-based seed-stage venture fund - Prime Venture Partners. Since its launch, SurveySparrow has conducted over 20,000 surveys with over 8,000 customers in 108 countries for partners including DiDi, PaySafe, FedEx, Deloitte Digital, SAP, and Siemens. [11][12]

Bboxx has three co-founders – Mansoor Hamayun, Christopher Baker-Brian, and Laurent  Van Houcke. They co-founded Bboxx in 2010. [2][5]

Yaagneshwaran Ganesh (June 30, 1985), popularly known as Yaag, is an award-winning Indian marketer, author, podcaster, and keynote speaker. He is better known for his podcast ‘The ABM Conversations Podcast.’[1] He is the author of marketing books such as Syncfluence, Is your Marketing in Sync or Sinking?, and The Revenue Marketing Book.[2]

Yaagneshwaran was recognized as one of the top 100 global martech influencers by Onalytica in 2016.[3] He has been invited to speak at business conferences and management institutions globally, including TEDx, The Performance Marketing Moscow, TiE Coimbatore, MKB Twente (Netherlands), and several others. He has been featured on several recognized media houses globally, including BBN Times, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and others.[4][5]

Early life

Yaagneshwaran was born in Cheyyar, India on June 30, 1985. He spent his childhood in Mumbai before his family settled in Chennai. Yaag completed his Bachelors in Science with a specialization in Computers from the University of Madras. He chose Jansons School of Business for his MBA and specialized in marketing. Yaag holds a certificate in Strategy Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.[6][7][8] Yaagneshwaran is married to Aarthi Manohar and has two children, Vidyut and Anjana.[9]

Career

Yaag began his career in 2008 as a freelance content marketer. He joined SolarWinds as a Product Marketing Specialist. In 2014, he served Corporater as their head of marketing.[10] In mid-2017, he switched to Fiind Inc., taking up the role of Marketing Director and helped them with product positioning and executive keynote content for AI adoption in B2B marketing.[11] In 2018, he took up the role of Principal Consultant - Marketing at FreshWorks.[12][13][14] In 2013, Yaagneshwaran released his first fiction book, “Taken Already”.[15]

Podcaster

Yaag has been a notable person in the B2B marketing podcast universe. His podcast ‘The ABM Conversations Podcast’ is among the top 1% podcasts globally, featuring several marketing legends, including Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Rand Fishkin, Jon Miller, Scott Brinker, and several others.[16][17]
