A Composite character is a fictional character who is based on more than one real person, if it’s fiction based on a true story or who is based on more than one fictional character.

Examples

In the movie The Great Escape, The Cooler King is based on three different real people.

In Schindler's List, Itzhak Stern, Oskar Schindler’s account is based not only on the real Itzhak Stern but on Abraham Bankier and Mietek Pemper

In the movie 21 ,based on the book by Ben Mezrich, Professor Mickey Rosa is based on three real people

In the play 1776, John Adams is based on the real John Adams and also on Sam Adams.

In the television show Elementary, James Moriarty and Irene Adler are the same person.

In Once Upon a Time, Regina Mills is based on the Evil Queen from Snow White, the stepmother from Hansel and Gretel and the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid. And Mister Gold is based on Rumpelstiltskin, The Beast from Beauty and the Beast, the Crocodile from Peter Pan and The Devil.
