Plucked string instrument

Plucked string instruments are instruments that are plucked either by fingerpicking or a pick. Examples of this are guitars, ukuleles, lutes, bass guitars, mandolins and banjos.

Plucked string instruments usually have strings, which when plucked, produces a vibration, producing sound. This sound gets amplified, either through a soundbox or electric amplifier.
