In Toa Payoh on 5 Feb 2017, 24-year-old Rain Chua completed 70 push-ups in a minute with his palms in a diamond formation. Guinness World Records recognised that feat to have beaten the previous world record of 58 diamond push-ups. The NTU computer science undergrad attributed his accomplishment to a cohesive effort involving his friends from the Bar Brothers Singapore who meet to exercise regularly. He trained for 7 months leading up to the Guinness challenge.
