      Critics have argued that the Inflation Reduction Act -- which Joe Biden just signed into law -- won't do much to address inflation. That might be true. But there's only so much Biden can do to reduce inflation which is affecting every corner of the Earth right now. The new bill will actually be the most significant investment against climate change our nation has ever made, and that is worth celebrating. 

      Siouxland is fortunate to have so many hometown celebrations that help make the holiday season magical. Embrace the season by taking in as many of these hometown events as you can. They're sure to help fill your holiday season with good cheer.

      Our Opinion: We traditionally have waited until the last weekend before Election Day because we strongly feel that endorsing too soon would run the risk of missing important issues or controversies that might arise in the final days of the campaign.
