Soon the engineer Sarah Bernard attracted the engineer’s attention, and Nobel even asked his mother for a blessing for marriage. But Andrietta did not approve the choice of the son. After the break with the actress, Alfred went to work and stopped searching for his life partner. In 1874, there was a change in the scientist’s personal life. In search of his secretary, Alfred met the Countess Berta Kinsky, who soon became the beloved scientist. After several years of ardent friendship, the girl left Alfred and left for the other groom in the capital of Austria. Although her personal contact with Nobel was brief, she corresponded with him until his death in 1896, and it is believed that she greatly influenced his decision to include the peace prize in the list of Nobel prizes.
