In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the “Floating High Jump” badge gives the player character a jump that highly resembles Luigi’s characteristic jump from Super Mario Bros. 2.

This is referenced with the internal name for the badge, which unlike other names that are made out of several words, is simply called “Luigi”. As such, if the player chooses Luigi and this badge, the result is Luigi wearing the Luigi badge.

In the Elevator Antics level in Donkey Kong Country, if Diddy Kong picks up a metal keg from a later point in the level and brings it back to the section with the low ceilings, it is possible to clip into the ceiling by jumping on the keg when it rebounds off the wall, as seen in the footage.

From inside the wall, it is possible to explore a sizable portion of the level because the boundary between the playable area and out of bounds is also solid from the other side (which is not always the case in platformers), so the Kongs can platform through “negative space” in this manner.

In World 7-2 of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, there is an area with two ledges that are slightly more than one screen apart, where Lakitu is patrolling and a single green Koopa Paratroopa can be found.

Together, these elements combine to create a unique challenge for expert players whereby the Koopa Paratroopa can be kicked and its shell will bounce repeatedly between the off-screen ledges without despawning. During this, the player must dodge the Lakitu’s Spinies while the shell takes them out and collects 1-Ups, as seen in the footage.
