Fabulous Friday Find- Dollar Tree mini containers

Don't we all love the Dollar Tree? I wanted to share these cute little plastic containers I found at my local Dollar Tree a couple of months ago. I think they still have them. You get 10 in a pack. They are 2.3 ounce containers and BPA free. Perfect for: dressing and sauces in lunch boxes storing small craft supplies containers for DIY beauty cream, lotions and supplies I'm currently using one in my bathroom to hold coconut oil that I use as a skin moisturizer. And isn't everything in a mini version just adorable? Just thought you might like to know. What would you use them for?

Bathroom organization idea

Today's Fabulous Friday find is an idea for bathroom storage. It may not seem like a big deal, but sometimes I get stuck in a rut of thinking of things as only for their normal uses. Like a lazy susan- it's made for the kitchen right? Kitchen things belong in the kitchen.   source bhg.com Well how about the BATHROOM? This is perfect for my messy under the sink cabinet. I'll be able to see and find everything without digging in the back. Fabulous! Have a great weekend! Check out more bathroom organization HERE.

Tin can caddy- 3 ways to make one

I'm not sure I even have the space for a caddy right now, but if I do (and my craft space sure needs revamping), these three DIY tin can caddys are certainly inspiring. Maybe I'll make one of my own. by Cynthia Shaffer Coley's Corner Shabby Chic Inpsired

Organized hall closets

The first project in my "non" resolution to organize and declutter the house was the hall closets. They were tackled first in part because I had to put away the Christmas wrapping supplies and decorations. The first closet is where I store my grandmother's handmade quilts, crocheted ornaments that cannot stand the heat and humidity of the attic, and other seasonal home decor items. I purchased some plastic containers to store some of the things in. BTW, these closets are very hard to photograph.  The very top shelf has some extra electronic and computer supplies- spare keyboards and cords. Next is ornaments and vases and candle holders. Then there is a container for filler items for the vases and one for candles and miscellaneous items that can be altered and gifted for various holidays. Some of the filler items have been bagged and are not in the container. (It's not perfect.) The bottom shelf and containers in the very bottom have more seasonal decor. The ...

No resolutions

I'm not making resolutions- who keeps them? I do however have some changes and some additions to the "to do" list. First, I'd like to learn/identify/ and develop my spiritual gift . Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. (Romans 12:4-6a) Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. (1 Pet. 4:10) My hubby says that we are going to "systematically" organize and declutter our house. He started on Christmas eve when he cleaned out the fridge, LOL. I'm not sure what the system is but I'm all for it. I've got to do a scrapbook/craft room/office redo. I organized it once, but then my interests grew, supplies grew, and the space did not. I have things now...

Organizing and decluttering

Hubby and I have spent the last couple of weekends organizing and de-cluttering our stuff. This weekend I worked on my craft room. I will post pics later. Hubby still has to install a shelf for me. De-cluttering always means stuff to get rid of. I no longer travel with my scrapbook supplies since I have a designated work space, so I am ready to part with my tote. I just listed it and a Creative Memories organizer on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180246830229&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=008 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180246831688&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=008 Hubby also has a remote control helicopter and a Sony PSP game system up for bids. http://cgi.ebay.com/E-flite-Blade-CX-R-C-Helicopter-with-Upgrades_W0QQitemZ200226268952QQihZ010QQcategoryZ2563QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-PSP-Game-System-with-Games-Movies-Extras_W0QQitemZ200226271712QQihZ010QQcategoryZ13997...
