Psychedelic, prog rock and folk from A Coruña (Spain).
'Fume santo de loureiro' was conceived as the soundtrack for the short-film 'Nai', directed by filmmaker Tito Refoxo, who also worked on the screenplay alongside Brais do Rei, the current drummer of Moura.
Following their s/t debut album, the stand-alone single "Muiñeira da Maruxaina", and their second studio album 'Axexan, espreitan', Moura, known for their commitment to exploring and preserving Galician tradition, gets involved in a multidisciplinary project that tells the story of a family from the village of Rois in A Coruña (Spain), who becomes embroiled in a dark tragedy with the disappearance of the youngest member of the family.
'Fume santo de loureiro' consists of three main songs, accompanied by an introduction and small cuts of incidental music that showcase the band's more experimental side. It's a dark album where traditional vocals and percussion guide through the process of loss; progressive chants create a hypnotic mantra against the evil eye; and lullabies ("arrolos") turn into ghostly laments.

Just some very quality stoner rock/metal. Excellent riffs, guitar tone, vocals, production, and great hooks. My biggest complaint about a lot of this kind of music is a lot of bands forget to include hooks. Acid Magus didn't. mobesneedmusic
A stoner-rock opera with dystopian themes, the Italian band's third LP fuses apocalyptic fury with psychedelic splendor. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2023
Sustained by seismic psych riffs, proggy shifts, and vivid sci-fi storytelling, these Milwaukee cosmonauts command respect. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 29, 2023

This is extremely interesting. Ostensibly hard rock with a 70s psych flavor, there is really something else going on. The vocals have a jazzy flavor, and the production really makes me think of an unusual yet killer band called Reptile Palace Orchestra- a sort of anything-goes, artsy, avant-garde, almost ‘world’ mish-mash of orchestra and rock. Yet this isn’t that, which the shredding guitar and rock rhythms ensure. Whatever this is, it is brilliant. Lute FP
