While speaking with reporters, Hall was honest about the possibility of being traded by Chicago.

"Yeah, I'd like to stay here. I like the city. I like the group," Hall said. "I have a feeling that's not really in the cards. So, we'll see. I came into this year wanting to continue being a Blackhawk for years to come. I don't know if that's going to be the case anymore, but I'll leave that door open."

Hall should generate interest from contenders looking to add to their middle six before the deadline passes. The 2010 first-overall pick currently has eight goals and 22 points in 43 games this season with the Blackhawks.

It will be fascinating to see what happens between Hall and the Blackhawks from here. With Chicago rebuilding and Hall being a 33-year-old pending unrestricted free agent, it would not be surprising if we see him dealt.
