Add The Universe (Read Description)
Add the Opportunity to fly out of the Universe!!! So that you can see the structure of the universe (the border of the universe is 13 billion light years from earth)

That is not the structure of the universe, that is a map of the cosmic microwave background radiation.

You can already see the structure of the universe in the current version.

How?
Use map mode and zoom out to around 100-200 Mly, or fly through the universe at a speed of around 10-20 Mly/s, you will see that galaxies exist in loose clusters and walls around large voids which contain few or no galaxies.

Game creators, please add a universe and (Read Description)

There is no border of the universe. The universe is not a sphere with an edge, it continues forever, or at least beyond the farthest distance we can measure. You can already see the structure of the universe in the current version.

The diameter of the observable universe alone is approximately 93 billion light years, so no, the "edge" of the universe isn't 13 billion light years from Earth

Given that even at the fastest timescales, galaxies themselves are not being simulated to be moving relative to others - I don't think they are going to take the expansion of spacetime itself into consideration too - it would be awesome if it could - one would be able to rewind all the way back to the big bang... Can't imagine how one would go about coding that into this planetarium though. - Would require quite an overhaul in how it all works I guess?...

Musical Samurai, If this was added it would be cool.

This is a universe Strusture

This is the structure I would like to see

The CMB is not the structure of the Universe, and no, the SDSS map you sent in isn't too because it's not full.

I'm skeptical of anyone who says that the structure of the universe is known at this point. Is it not true that we can only see so far into space because the light from objects at a certain distance hasn't even reached us yet? Who's to say it really doesn't just go on forever? Or actually DOES have an edge?

Replace "universe" with "Observable Universe", its entire essence is about light which has reached us already. It has an edge ~47 billion light years away, and it has some noticeable features like superclusters, web-like networks of galaxies and great walls. About the "go on forever" part and thus not about the Observable Universe, it's still debated. If I recall correctly, if it does not extend out forever, then the lower bound of its size is 18 times more than the size of the Observable Universe.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
