This is the first release of 'Life Archeology', a new series featuring standout performances from recent to early times. The criteria here is that it speaks from a place that's not so much about music, what synths I was using and so on, but about the flow and emotion, the elan - and the grace that it expresses. This is speaking deeply to me now after not hearing it for over a year.

As I am in the deep end of the live concerts this summer across the US, this release feels like the perfect moment of sonic archeology to share with you. What you hear is exactly as it occurred, no edits or parts added.

Recorded March 7, 2023 at the Ambient Lounge series in Tucson's Century Room where I created and performed more than a dozen times last year. This set is the perfect example of spontaneous composing in the live performance setting.
As the artist in residence I was given and developed, I invited artists each month from all over the US as part of the program. I would show up each month with a Tabula Rasa state of mind for the most part…the clean slate, no expectations upon myself.
This ongoing series gave me the opportunity to step off the into flow of the moment.
Like Desert Winds of Change, this will be made into a public release at some point.

Preplanning was minimal. It was more about setting up a unique system, trusting in the process, bringing all my years of live performance into a new level and just going for it. This night was special and I am grateful to share this with you now just before I head out to Chicago for the next live show. I hope to see some of you there if it's in your area.
