… Gula melaka is aromatic and not as sweet. A good balance with the coconut and pandan flavor. While the pandan flavor from the cake is light and delicious, the tint of green hue gives u the idea it is pure pandan extract. Whereas the cream has a darker hue and the green coloring isnt well mixed on some areas not visible initially. As you move your fork to cut the petals, u do see some darker parts (higher concentration) of coloring, and the darker hue gives away the less natural feel. Overall, the finer texture of the soft sponge, (beautiful air small bubbles, relating consistent throughout the whole cake, except for a large air pocket, likely forgot to drop the pan or give it a hard tap b4 baking) and good balance makes it a good cake. Superb effort n beautiful presentation.
