Find out which devices appear in your Apple Account device list, how to find your device details and how to remove a device.
When to remove a device from the list
If your device is missing, you can to find your device and take additional actions that can help you recover it and keep your data safe.
If you’re no longer using your device, no longer have access to that device or if you don’t recognise a listed device, you should remove it from the list.
Devices that you remove from the list won’t have access to iCloud, Find My or other Apple services, and won’t display verification codes for two-factor authentication. The device won’t reappear in the list unless you sign in on that device again.
Find or remove devices in your list
When you sign in with your Apple Account on a device, it’s added to your Apple Account screen. From here you can see which ones are trusted devices, which ones you’re currently signed in to, and you can sign out remotely, if needed.
Use your iPhone or iPad to find where you’re signed in
Tap Settings > [your name], then scroll down to see a list of devices.
Tap any device name to view that device’s information, such as the device model, serial number, software version and whether it’s a trusted device that can be used to receive Apple Account verification codes. The information may vary depending on the device type. You might need to authenticate to view device details.
If you want to remove that device from your account by signing out remotely, tap Remove from Account. Review the message that appears, then confirm that you want to remove that device.
Use your Mac to find where you’re signed in
Choose Apple menu > System Settings.
Click [your name], then scroll down to see a list of devices.
Click any device name to view that device’s information, such as the device model, serial number, software version and whether it’s a trusted device that can be used to receive Apple Account verification codes. The information may vary depending on the device type. You might need to authenticate to view device details.
If you want to remove that device from your account by signing out remotely, click Remove from Account. Review the message that appears, then confirm that you want to remove that device.
Use your Windows PC to find where you’re signed in
Open iCloud for Windows.
At the top, click Account Details.
You can see a list of devices that you’re signed in to. The information displayed may vary depending on the device type.
Use the web to find where you’re signed in
If you use a Windows PC, Android mobile device or don’t have any Apple devices, you can sign in on the web to check your Apple Account device list.
Sign in to your Apple Account at account.apple.com, then select Devices.
If you don’t see your devices straight away, click View Details to authenticate and view device details.

If you want to remove that device from your account by signing out remotely, click Remove from Account. Review the message that appears, then confirm that you want to remove that device.
Permanently remove a device from your account page
If you’re still signed in to your Apple Account on the device, it may reappear on your Apple Account screen the next time your device connects to the internet. To permanently remove the device from your account screen, sign out of iCloud, Media & Purchases, iMessage, FaceTime and Game Center on that device, or erase that device.
