Merchant categories are visible to creators as they browse merchants in our program and in merchant promotions in YouTube Studio. Selecting the right merchant category improves the chances of finding the right creators for your products.

You can select the categories that best describe your business. A pop-up window allows you to select multiple merchant categories.
Categories include, but are not limited to:
- Animals & Pet Supplies
- Beauty & Personal Care
- Home & Garden
- Sporting Goods
We recommend selecting only the categories that represent your core affiliate marketing focus areas.
