Official Artist Channel Sections

Note: We're removing the "Music" and "More from the artist" shelves under the videos tab from your Official Artist Channel soon. Your content will remain visible on your channel.

Official Artist Channels offer you new options for your channel layout. In addition to standard channel sections, you can include the following sections on your Official Artist Channel:

Featured video

You can choose what video you want to show at the top of your Official Artist Channel—even if it's not a video that you uploaded. Choose different videos for new visitors and returning subscribers.

Releases

We've renamed the “Albums & singles” shelf to “Releases.” Your content will remain visible on your channel.

The Releases section is an autogenerated section that encompasses all of your releases. This section makes it easier for your viewers to find your music more quickly.

Music videos

The Music videos section is an autogenerated section that aggregates your official music video content from across all your YouTube channels. These videos are organized by:

  • Upload date
  • Popularity

Videos

The Videos section automatically pulls all your most recent video content from the Videos tab on your Official Artist Channel.

Customizable sections

Below the autogenerated "Music videos," “Releases” and "Videos" sections, you can add additional shelves of playlists and channels that you've curated.
