YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium members will automatically be charged the membership price at the start of each new billing cycle until you cancel.

Update payment & membership preferences

  1. In the YouTube app, tap on your profile photo and then Paid memberships.
  2. Tap on your membership.
  3. Update your payment or membership preferences. If you joined via the YouTube iOS app: You can update your payment and subscription options in iTunes.

Recurring charges in India

Due to the Reserve Bank of India eMandate requirements, you have to verify or re-enter your payment details to maintain access to your recurring memberships. To do so, follow the instructions in the YouTube app or on youtube.com. Note that your bank may not support recurring payments at this time. Check the list of banks supporting recurring payments or learn more.

  1. Sign in to your YouTube Music Premium account.
  2. Go to music.youtube.com/paid_memberships and then Offers from YouTube.
  3. Under Premium, click Learn More.
  4. Follow the steps to join YouTube Premium.

Note: Starting in 2022, new YouTube Premium and Music Premium subscribers who signed up on Android will be billed via Google Play. This change will not affect existing subscribers. You can visit payments.google.com to see recent charges and check how you are billed. To request a refund for a Google Play purchase, follow the steps outlined here.
