JR豊橋駅西口より徒歩約5分の路地沿いにあるお店「日の丸や」。
6月中旬の豊橋滞在時の夜に訪れました。
お店は2Fもあり全18席の広さ。私は1Fの8席あるカウンター席中央席へと着座しました。
お店は少し強面ですが、とても気遣い細やかな大将お1人で切り盛りされておりました (^^)
先ずは「生中(エビス)」(500円)片手にボードに書かれた「日替りおばんさい」各種メニュー
や卓上に置かれた定番メニューを拝見。
この日は
「名物!手作りひりゅうず」(380円)
「鯨の刺身三種盛り」(1500円)
「クジラベーコン」(580円)
「おばけ酢味噌」(500円)
を注文しました。
「名物!手作りひりゅうず」(がんもどき) はカウンタ―上にズラリ並べられた
大皿から一つ取り分けられました。ひりゅうずは出汁に崩しながらいただきます。
崩すと中からいろんなものが現れて楽し美味しかったです (^^)/
「鯨の刺身三種盛り」は赤身、本皮、鹿の子です。それぞれの部位でお味と食感が
全然異なり、こちらも食べていて楽しいですね。
これは日本酒が呑みたくなった!って事で
「春鹿 純米酒 超辛口」(760円)
をいただきました。キリッと辛口で鯨料理にもとても合いますね。
「クジラベーコン」「おばけ酢味噌」も日本酒がグイグイ進む美味しさ。
この日はお酒を後2杯おかわりしてお勘定しました。
旅先でフラリと立ち寄ったお店で美味しいお酒と肴に出会えて良かったです。
お勘定後、大将が外まで「有難うございました!」とお見送りに来てくれて
とても気分良くお店を後にしました。
