Gonbei started as a Japanese-style restaurant in Hiroshima in 1924, and the popular oden became mainstream. The taste of oden has been loved for 89 years, and is still passed down today.
There are over
... 80 different menu items, all priced at 525 yen or less, and you can enjoy reasonably priced dishes such as Miyazaki Prefecture Wagyu beef shanks and palm-sized hanpen (fish cakes). The oden, made with white miso, has a comforting sweetness and rich flavor that will have you hooked once you try it. Chicken skin, which is rich in collagen, and warm vegetables, which are great for preventing summer fatigue, are also recommended for the summer, when fatigue can easily accumulate!
We have private rooms for 3 people and up, as well as tatami rooms for larger groups. As a Midori-chochin affiliate, we use domestic ingredients and put safety and security first, and our oden is designed to "inspire and energize."
