Born in Iwate Prefecture in 1978. With his father being a chef, it was only natural that he followed the path of a chef. He has been educating himself on cooking and food, accumulating knowledge through eating out and devouring books on cooking, which has brought him to where he is today. With a deep knowledge of not only Japanese cuisine but also various genres, Terasawa serves original Japanese dishes. In addition to delicate dishes that incorporate the breath of the season and use local Iwate ingredients, he also provides his guests with hospitality that is sincere, including customer service, to provide them with moments of bliss.

The warm atmosphere of the interior, with its warbler green walls and wooden texture, is unpretentious and comfortable. There are only two private rooms, reflecting Chef Terazawa's desire for guests to relax and enjoy the food. If you surrender yourself to the owner's kind and warm personality, he will happily engage you in conversation with you about the seasonal ingredients and cooking methods used in his dishes. The attentive service that is possible only by booking a reservation is one of the reasons why the restaurant continues to attract more regular customers from far away.

Chef Terazawa values the original flavor of the ingredients. He uses a flavorful dashi broth made from freshly shaved bonito flakes and keeps salt to a minimum to serve dishes that make the most of the natural umami and are full of gentle flavor. The ingredients are varied, including locally caught seafood, carefully selected meat, and seasonal vegetables. You can sense the owner's sincere attitude towards cooking from each dish, which can only be created with solid skills and careful work.
